My Story

My name is Sabrina Hindman, M.Ed, LMFT, CADC-R, QMHP-R; Masters of Education, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist; Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor-Registrant; Qualified Mental Health Practioner-Registrant.

I was born and raised in the Portland/Gresham area. I graduated from Centennial High School in 2003. I graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology in 2006. I returned to graduate with my Masters of Education, specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2009. My first child was born that fall. The following spring I began working at an Alcohol & Drug inpatient facility as their Family Intervention Specialist.

Early in 2016 I was trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) an effective trauma tool. This inspired me to begin my own private practice.

I became licensed in April of 2020; currently I am working towards full certification as a Alcohol & Drug Counselor.

I will continue to update my webpage, Facebook page, Linkedin profile, Twitter account, and Psychology Today profile.

I am a member of the AAMFT (American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy) and OBLPCT (Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists).

Dedicated to serving all families in all their forms, I strive to create an uplifting and supportive environment that targets the strengths of an individual, couple, or family. Supporting honest communication, effective tools, and a nurturing home.
